When you’ve been with your partner for a long time, it can be difficult to keep getting them original gifts when their birthday, Valentine’s day, or an anniversary rolls around.
You want to show them how much you care about them, but you’ve also already used up all of your amazing ideas on the last gift you got them!
What on earth do you do?
If your partner is living away from you, showing them that you care can seem difficult as you can’t physically be there with them.
However, a thoughtful care package could go a really long way to show them that you are thinking of them.
The key to a care package is the thought that goes into it. You can make an amazing care package on a budget; just think about your partner’s favorite things.
- Do they have a favorite food, or have you recently tried something that you think they would love?
- Is there something you know that they need or use a lot of?
- Are there any treats you can include that will make them feel pampered?
Consider these questions, and you’ll soon have a care package stuffed full. Wrap it up nicely and include a card conveying your feelings, and you’ll quickly have a very happy partner.
Create a romantic evening
Even when you live with your partner, it can be hard to get some quality time together. By the time you’ve been at work, eaten dinner, and done your chores, it’s quite often time to go to bed and do it all over again!
Setting aside the time for a romantic evening is one of the best gifts that you can get for your partner. Set the scene with romantic music and candles, and spend a little time dressing up for them.
You could even surprise them with something you’ve been talking about trying, such as a butt plug tail or handcuffs, if you want to make the night even more memorable.
Cook their favorite meal
Nothing shows that you care about someone quite like cooking their favorite meal for them. Set the table with candles and a white tablecloth to create a scene out of a restaurant, play soft music in the background and be sure to include a cheeky glass of wine or two!
Run them a bath
Everyone gets stressed from time to time, and there’s nothing quite like a romantic bath to help you soak your troubles away.
Be sure that you give the bathroom a good clean before running the bath; it’s not romantic if you can see dirt on the side! It’s also a very good idea to make sure that you won’t be interrupted, so if you live with other people be sure that they will be out for the evening so that you aren’t disturbed.
Finally, run the bath. Be sure to include bubble bath, rose petals, and essential oils to make it extra special. Lighting a few candles around the room will help to set the tone, as will playing soft music.
